Workers Need Friendship Too

I have had a lot on my mind lately, and I was not able to come up with a social challenge for myself last weekend. I am definitely ready to step it up because lately I have just been feeling good about myself. Anyway here is the friendship challenge I have in mind. It is not much of a challenge, but the idea is to talk to the people that work at an establishment, also known as employees. This idea comes from two things, a terrible terrible alcohol fueled night I had recently, and employees are paid to be nice to you.
It is easier to talk to an employee, because it greatly decreases the likely hood that the person will act negatively toward you. Now also keep in mind, tipped workers will pretty much always be friendly with you even if your friendship banter is not as good as you think it is. Because of this, make sure any connections you make a genuine before continuing. Another point that makes talking to hired help interesting is that the workers might enjoy a break from their job to talk about the weather, sports, or ponies. So you could also thinking of it like doing some charity work. Okay it is not quite charity, but I will give you some good karma if you want.
So this weekend I have a wedding to go to and it should be fun. I will make sure to warm up with some friendly waiters or hotel staff while I am there. Stay friendly everyone!
