My Product Recommendation

BOBW 9         If you have not gotten a chance to check out my review of Dale Carnegie's book  How to Win Friends & Influence People, what are you waiting for? This book is the basis to what friendship is all about. It puts the friend in friendship. You know on second thought, I do not really know how those jokes work. Anyway some of the surface level stuff I love about this book is that it is easy to read, it is interesting, and it is almost like reading a bunch of different books at once. What I mean by that is the book tells a bunch of different stories. It uses these stories to help us readers understand how friendships can be form, and how to better yourself at being social. The stories range from political figures to murderers but they all share themes in common of communicating better, and understanding people.          The book even have a list of the topics covered such as: 1. Get you out of a mental rut, give you n...

Entourage

BOBW 8 For today's post I want to talk about a TV show that is about friendship, Entourage. Because this blog is about friendship with a side of brotherhood, it makes Entourage perfect for this.  Entourage is show that ran on HBO from July 2004 to September 2011. The show follows a young up and coming actor and his friends from his hometown of Queens New   York. As I said before the theme of the show is friendship, and it also has situations of living in Hollywood. I personally loved the show. The situations were funny, and I loved the agent, Ari Gold the most. He is always abusing people in the most hysterical ways. It is fun to watch his character develop, and he also helped create a couple memes.  Another part of the show I enjoy is the theme of friendship. The show has these awesome friends playing pranks on each other, giving wonderfully bad advice, some good advice, and loving each others company just like a fantasy. They have their issues, but these ...

Reviewing BOBW

BOBW 7       So let's get back to my blog. What I'd like to do is narrow the scope now that I've gotten a little bit of experience, and I've looked at some other blog sites and learned some more about blogging. This is a friendship blog. Everyone is looking for it, and I want to explore how to find it, nurture it, and explain it in a clear understandable way. There seems to be a market for this type of blog and not a lot of competition as I struggled to find other blogs to find inspiration in this subject. It will be a challenge, but I kind of like it that way.       My blog discusses friendship and how its forms, and occasionally a personal story if something interesting happens. I try not to talk too much about the business this blog was inspired by. I try to post once a day, but end up posting twice Monday through Thursday. This is strictly beginners advice. I have no degree, unless you count an associates backed up by a sociology class. ...

Top 4 things I learned about Friendship Blog

BOBW Post 6 Now I mentioned last time that I would look into the most popular friendship blog, and now I'm going to tell you what I found out. Wait, it's gone? 1. The first thing to know about this blog is that it was shutdown on June 1st of this month. I just missed out on being able to take part during the blogging. Where is all the Friendship blogs? I noticed that friendship blogs not existing is a restated point from the blog post yesterday. This blog was at the top ranking in its subject of friendship. It also was one of the first blogs in that subject. It is still Alive? A pretty cool thing I noticed was a link to a Facebook group that continues the discussions about friendship from the blog. It is too bad you have to request to get in the group before you see the actual posts. They should consider making it an open to join group. It is nice that the blog didn't just disappear forever. And that people could find some where to reconnect...
BOBW Post. 5 I was doing some research about friendship blogs, and it turns out there is not a whole lot of friendship blogs. I did find something on Crowd sourcing Life about 10 must see friendship sites. So I'll check that list out next. For now I want to talk about Crowd Sourcing Life blog. Right off the bat, I love the name of the blog. It combines business and relationships together. The author posts once a week in conversational, lecturing, and sometimes host like tone. I would say Sarah, the host, is an advanced expert opinions on the subjects she covers. Sarah is a researcher who studied 18 years of community and connections. She is a certified life coach as well so this is another piece of her blog that makes better content. And lastly this isn't the only blog she writes on. I just love how it the blog links up with the title so well as the author posts websites, podcasts, and books to better life. Overall, I like the content of the blog, I wish I had thought o...
BOBW Post 4. http://bobwclub.blogspot.com/2017/06/bobw-post-1.html Continuing the quest for friendship with some new objectives. Practice your skills. I know from experience that is easy to get rusty on your social skills. I remember tearing up campus back in the day. I started at the community college, and a determined freshman me decided he wasn't going to let being at a “lesser” school determine the outcome of the year. I reconnected with a friend from high school in the same situation and we did some silly stuff. You see there were 4 sports teams at this college. There was girls and boys soccer, baseball, and softball. So we decided to give the girls soccer team a surprise. We show up with a sign and covered in body paint, to a crowd of like 15 people, and we start ruckus! The crowd is going nuts and the girls started playing out of their minds! They came back from a 2 goal deficit to win. I was speechless. The soccer team gave us a shout out and it was like we were apar...
BOBW Post 3. Top 4 Reason To Go Out This Weekend Because it's been a long week. Work is hard, school is hard, and everything in-between is hard too. That is all the more reason to shake off the routine and hit up a great night spot. It is a lot easier to get through the week with something to look forward to. It doesn't even always have to be a bar or club. Maybe you're in the mood for sports so find a pick up game of basketball, or a internet cafe for some gaming. So get out there! Because it is hard to meet people from home. Sure you can whip open your tinder app and swipe right to every guy or lady that shows up, but do you know what you'll find? Axe murderers probably. Okay, they might not all be bad, but if you go out you can at least scan people with your own eyes before even saying hello. Because Netflix without the chill is no bueno. You can sit there all night, and devour a half season of The West Wing, or you can choose to d...
